Alumnus Pete Keane Offers Annual Funds Match

Pete Keane ’82 wants to make certain today’s Guilford students receive the same life-changing education he did.

He’s pledged up to $25,000 to match gifts to the Annual Funds from first-time donors and alumni who have not given in more than five years. His dollar-for-dollar match will apply to gifts made through June 30, the end of the fiscal year.

“Guilford College was a transformational chapter in my life,” Pete said. “What I learned inside and outside the classroom not only laid the foundation for my professional life to come, but it helped me to become more comfortable in my skin, enriched my spiritual journey and opened up worlds previously unknown or unexplored.”
